Lighthouse is pleased to announce the promotion of Tom Snyder to CEO!
Tom moved from Minnesota to Maine to join Lighthouse approximately a year and a half ago. He brought with him extensive optical and medical device experience. He is passionate about commercializing new products and has been managing cross-functional teams his entire career. His entrepreneurial and innovative mindset drives him to collaborate with customers to identify mutually beneficial solutions. In his new role, Tom will be responsible for day-to-day operations at Lighthouse.
Current Lighthouse CEO, Robert Austring commented, “This is the culmination of a succession strategy developed and nurtured for the past two years. Tom was recruited specifically for this role, and I am confident in his ability to continue the company’s progression. In my new role, I will operate as the Chairman of the Board and Chief Commercial Officer, focusing on strategic growth and business development.”

Founded in 1984 and located just outside of Portland, Maine, Lighthouse Imaging is a contract development and manufacturing organization specializing in visualization systems for the medical device space. Lighthouse will continue to focus on execution in product development, growth in manufacturing, expansion of capabilities, and strategic growth initiatives.
