As you read this, I want to take a moment to say thank you to our friends, colleagues, clients, and advocates who are on the front lines combating the COVID-19 pandemic. I hope that this note finds you healthy and loved ones in good spirits.
Working in the medical device space, our efforts support many of those that are seeing the effects of the virus firsthand. We do not take this responsibility lightly. As a result, we have wrestled with how we should promote and share the work we are doing. I am sure many of you have pondered these dynamics as well.
At the end of the day, we have chosen to lay low and make sure the correspondence that does go out is supportive of those that are in harm’s way each day and helpful to those who follow us.
This unique time has also given us a chance to pause and reflect on what is vital to our business, our partners, and clients. We are about to hit refresh on several initiatives that we had put on the back-burner and will be looking forward to your reaction.
First, in the coming weeks, you will see a new website launch from Lighthouse, and we look forward to your feedback.
Second, you will see an increase in our activity on LinkedIn, from both Lighthouse, our employees, and myself. If you haven’t done so yet, it is important to me that we connect and for you to follow Lighthouse.
Third, we are committed to expanding our podcast series, “At the Speed of Lighthouse,” and would like to invite our clients, partners, and experts in the medical imaging space to be our guest. We have had a lot of success with folks providing positive feedback on our format and the dialogue. If you have a great topic that you think would fit, please reach out to Rachel at rjaworski@lighthouseoptics.com.
Finally, we are excited about what is to come. With challenges, especially of global proportions, always come opportunities. I am fortunate to be leading an incredibly talented team of folks that are also willing to see these unique times as opportunities to improve on our culture, craftsmanship, and commitment to our clientele. Please join me to saying thank you to those battling each day and support the individuals and organizations in our communities that are hit the hardest. Thanks!
As always you can find the latest “@ The Speed of Lighthouse” Newsletter here.
